When thinking of a name for the charter business I wanted to find a moniker that meant something. Not just another charter service named after the fish species or geographic area of operation. I thought of my father and how much he wanted to live on Pine Island since he loved the water and fishing. I opened his old chest and pulled out his Navy log book from the USS Bolixi - a six hundred ton light cruiser that saw extensive battle in the South Pacific during WWII. You will find the USS Bolixi was nicknamed Double Lucky or the Busy Bee depending on who was speaking of her - I chose Double Lucky in honor of the courageous fighting men aboard that very lucky ship.
